The Youth State results after week 2 are not in numerical score order. Teams standings look okay but the other standings are not in order at all. Revision needs to be done.

    Last year Billy Paxton the Tournament Director added $10,000 to the prize fund. The additional monies were not added this year.Adding the additional money inflated last year’s pay out.

  I’m guessing this is a question about the Virginia State Open Tournament’s prize checks but I’m not 100% sure since it was asked under the Virginia State Youth Standings page.
  All of the Open checks were mailed out on the same date and I’m sorry to say that we have zero control over when the USPS will deliver them. I’m hoping its soon though because as a bowler myself I understand the frustration of the waiting.game. Give it a little more time and I’m sure your mailbox will see them.

  The Youth Tournament just completed this past weekend July 8,2018. We will have results posted as soon as possible.
  The Open Tournament has had some disqualifications and we hope to have those issues resolved as soon as possible. Until the disqualifications are resolved we cannot declare the Open as Official.

  After speaking with your coordinator it seems that the checks are likely in the USPS system. Your coordinator has stated that her address changed the week that the checks were mailed. The coordinator stated that she would check with her Post Office to see if they could trace the lost items or if they were being forwarded to her new address. We will have to wait until she can talk with her Post Office and reply to us before moving forward with this issue.

I know the reason for two divisions was because of the former person that was caught for taking our funds. Noticed that the “Unofficial’ was posted – but normally at the end it says what qualifies for an award – do not see this on the post. Also, USBC needs to look into 3 Division’s or changing the average for each Division – Once again – looked up averages and a lot of these ladies only have 21 to 24 games to establish an average and sub in several leagues. Needs to be addressed for next year. Been saying this since it went to 2 Divisions and yet kept getting told that it is being looked into. So next year it should be done.

  For all those asking about the Pepsi final standings/results … this is not a State Tournament. The Virginia State USBC agreed to post the standings on their web site as a courtesy to help disseminate the information to as wide an audience as possible. The State Association Manager has reached out to the Pepsi Youth Tournament manager, but when the results will be available is still unknown.
