VASTATEUSBC Mixed State Bowling Cancelled Feb 21-22

With more bad weather forecast to move back into the Staunton and Harrisonburg area this weekend, it was determined that all shifts will be cancelled for the upcoming weekend (Feb 21-22, 2015). The tournament director and Virginia State Association Manager will be working to reschedule all February 21-22 bowlers. Calls will be made to the Team Captains on Wednesday and Thursday. Bowlers can reach the Association Director (Johnny Harris) at 434-660-1780 for more information or help.

2014-2015 USBC Pepsi Youth Championships Information

Updated information for the 2014-2015 USBC Pepsi Youth Championships is now available on our website.   Please make sure to read over the cover letter, rules and format information (available under the VASTATEUSBC Youth Page) very carefully. The February window is January 18 – JANUARY 31, 2015.  Questions should be addressed to Kenneth D. Sprigings, Tournament Director.

2015 Blake Harrison Memorial Star of Tomorrow Scholarship

Hello Association Managers,
The VA State Blake Harrison Memorial Star of Tomorrow Scholarship applications are available under the Virginia State USBC Youth and Virginia State USBC Forms pages.  Please forward this to all League Coordinators in your association that may have leagues with with High School Seniors graduating in May/June of 2015.
The amount of the scholarship and the number of scholarships awarded each year depends on the number of applicants in each category (girls and boys) and the funding available.
Please let me know what questions you may have.
