2. the state youth tournament in Woodbridge Va was a horrible and miserable experience for the kids this past weekend! The ac broke 3 weeks prior and they made no effort to do anything to accommodate the kids while bowling. Free water

   isn’t gonna cut it! Also the tournament director should not allow a coach/parent have special privileges for his child just because the names were setup as 4-on lane 15 & 2-on lane 16, and he doesn’t want his son to bowl back to back frames even if his name and arrow are indicating it’s his turn. Every other lane was bowling right along with no issues but just because he thought his son shouldn’t have to, that pair of lanes didn’t start their

   last game until after the entire house was completed with all 6 games! The tournament director sided with him even though parents voiced their concerns with taking forever for their kids to bowl in the horrible conditions!

     Firstly, the VA State USBC is truly sorry for the AC issue at Woodbridge but we were not made aware of the problem until Saturday afternoon and were told by the manager that it went out sometime Friday night. Had it truly been awhile ago, and we were aware, every effort would have been made to move to another center if at all possible. We cannot control bowling center operations unfortunately.

     As to the other issue, I am the tournament manager and I did not give any special treatment to any bowler and have no knowledge of the situation you are referring to. Before responding to you I checked my schedule and no such lane assignment like that existed. The official on site mentioned to me yesterday evening that the bowling center had incorrectly put names into the system but I do not know if this is the same as what you are referring to, and I would hope that the tournament official on site from the Nations Capital Area USBC would have made the necessary corrections.

   Can someone please tell me where the USBC Youth League State Tournament will be held in Virginia for 2023?
   Also can you please give the 2 houses they will bowl in?
