URGENT NEWS REGARDING MIXED TOURNAMENT WEEKEND OF FEB 15-16, 2014!!!!

Hope everyone is safe and warm!

The Mixed State Tournament scheduled in Short Pump, VA this weekend, February 15^th and 16^th is still on. However, due to the inclement weather, if you do not feel you can get to Short Pump, VA, we have made arrangements with Bowl America for additional time and space to complete the tournament. The weekend of March 1^st and 2^nd has been opened for those that cannot attend this weekend.

There are several large groups and clubs that are bowling this weekend and we ask that you please let your coordinator know if you are planning NOT to travel this weekend.

2014 Virginia High School and State Youth Annual Tournaments Information

Information for the 13th Annual Virginia High School and 49th Annual Virginia State Youth Tournaments are now available on our website. Please make sure to read all the information pertaining to the tournaments (available under the VASTATEUSBC Youth Page or the VASTATEUSBC Tournaments Page) very carefully. Entry closing date for the High School Tournament is March 16, 2014. Entries for the Annual State Youth Tournament will be accepted between March 1, 2014 and April 20, 2014. In Memoriam – Walter “Addison” Marble

The Virginia State USBC has been notified of the passing of Walter “Addison” Marble of the South Boston USBC. Addison was a member of the Virginia State USBC Hall of Fame (1993).

Addison was also a member of the South Boston USBC Hall of Fame and a Honorary Life Member. Addison will be remembered for his service to the game of bowling.
