The Virginia State USBC has released the list of Tournament Schedules and Sites for the 2018-2019 bowling season. A link to the document is under the Left Sidebar with the title “Other VASTATEUSBC Links”.
The entry form for the 2018 Virginia State 600 Bowling Club Annual Tournament is now available under our Tournaments page. Any woman that has rolled a 600 series is eligible to bowl. Walk-in entries will be accepted until 30 minutes prior to start of squad. Early entries must be postmarked no later than October 13, 2018. Hotel reservation cut off date is October 8, 2018. Please read the tournament rules carefully.
A new division has been added by USBC to the Pepsi tournament and the National Junior Gold Championships. Under 17 (U17) divisions have been added for both girls and boys. The Optional Handicap side event will also have the U17 divisions. Tournament dates will be April 27 and 28, May 4, 5, 11 and 12. Fees will be $19 for the U8 and U10 divisions; $32 for the U12, U15, U17 and U20 divisions.
YOUTH BOWLERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The Junior Gold Tournament scheduled for September 15, 2018 at Staunton Lanes in Staunton VA is cancelled due to the weather threats posed by Hurricane Florence.
