Official Results for the Pepsi Youth Championships, minus Under 8 Girls (Handicap) and Under 10 Girls (Handicap), are now available under the Standings and Youth pages. There are still 2 bowlers whose status has not been verified. Voicemail and email have been left for the listed coach. Upon verification, final results for these two categories will be posted. A big “thank you” to Brian Funnell and Orbdrillers at AMF Hanover for their generous donation of $600 to this year’s Pepsi scholarship awards. Along with the Storm provided ball raffle, the tournament will issue scholarships for $14,185 in the standard Pepsi divisions. Additionally, $6530 in scholarship awards will be issued in this year’s ‘Optional Handicap Event’.
For all those asking about the Pepsi final standings/results … this is not a State Tournament. The Virginia State USBC agreed to post the standings on their web site as a courtesy to help disseminate the information to as wide an audience as possible. The State Association Manager has reached out to the Pepsi Youth Tournament manager. The final standings will be posted as soon as they are received.
Interim Results (scratch only) for the 2016 Virginia State USBC Pepsi Youth Championships through the third weekend are now available under our Standings page. The optional handicap event results are not included at this time due to average verifications.
