The 2025 Virginia State Pepsi Youth Championship results are now finalized and available under our Standings and Youth pages.

The results have been finalized for the 2025 Virginia State Pepsi Youth Bowling Championships. Over $34,000 in scholarships will be awarded from this year’s tournament. All scholarship will be posted into the SMART program over the next week or so. Scholarship letters will start going out shortly.

I would like to especially thank Ray Otto for devoting three weekends to support the tournament again this year. The tournament won’t have run as smoothly as it did without his assistance. And special thanks to Ollie Morton for volunteering multiple weekends to help out. Finally for Joe Ann, Monica and Derrick for their help filling in at various times. It was a group effort by all the above to make the tournament a success.

The tournament could not have been successful without the support of the staff at Bowlero Mechanicsville. Especially Cheri out front, Al and the behind-the-scenes mechanics, Ed, Ronnie and David. And thanks to the Orbdrillers Pro Shop for their donations to the ball raffles that we conducted during the tournament.

Once again, there was some outstanding scores shot by this year’s bowlers. Please review your bowler’s scores and process any awards for your bowlers. Tournament certification number is 05079, for any awards you may have for your bowlers.

From what I’ve read online, USBC is changing the name of this tournament and dropping Pepsi from the name. It will be called the USBC Youth Scratch Championships sponsored by SMART next season. Unless something changes that I haven’t seen yet, it will be the same tournament and we will have the same Optional Handicap Event as we have had for years.
