Standings after the 1st weekend of the 2018 Virginia State USBC 66th Annual Open Tournament are now posted under our Standings page.

  1. When looking at the standings for week 1 of the open tournament, I wonder how the 1st place team in the regular team division (901 & up) can have a 933 pin handicap? A 900 team average results in an average of 180 per player (playing strength = 5). Based on a 100% handicap against a standard score of 230 results in a 50 pin handicap per player or 750 pins per team per 3 game series. Where have I gone wrong in my calculations?
